If you want to carry out tattooing or skin treatments in the district, you must be registered with us - whether you are a mobile business or have a premises.
Skin treatments that require registration include:
- tattooing and semi-permanent skin colouring
- cosmetic skin piercing
- acupuncture
- electrolysis
We'll inspect your business to make sure health and safety standards are met before issuing a licence.
The licence will remain in force until either the business ceases to exist or registration is cancelled.
If you want to make a change to a licence you already hold, you will have to apply to us.
