The applicants Vistry Homes Ltd / Greenlight Developments Ltd have submitted an appeal to the Planning Inspectorate requesting that an appeal is heard via a public inquiry.

We received notification from the Planning Inspectorate that the appeal has now started on 20 May 2025.

  • The Inspector appointed to decide the appeal is A Partington BA (Hons) MA MRTPI
  • The hearing date will start at 10am on Tuesday 5 August 2025.
  • It is anticipated that the hearing will sit for one day and the format of the event will be face to face.
  • This hearing will be held at District Council House, Frog Lane, Lichfield.

How to comment

If you would like to make any comments to the Inspector, you must do so within five weeks of the starting date, by 18 June 2025.

Letters informing residents of the appeal dates have been sent out, but you do not need to have received a letter to engage in the appeal. 

If comments are submitted after the deadline, the Inspector will not normally look at them and they will be returned. 

All comments must be submitted directly to the Planning Inspectorate via their website or postal address.
