Young people across Lichfield District are invited to take part in a fantastic range of free activities running over the Easter holiday period.
The Getin2it programme, organised by Lichfield District Council’s Active Lichfield Communities Team, runs between Monday 30 March and Friday 10 April with sessions available in Lichfield and Burntwood.
The sessions, which cater for different age groups, include basketball (ages 7-12), dodgeball (ages 7-12), football (ages 7-12 and 7-16), soft archery (ages 7-12), netball (ages 7-12) US Girls (ages 8-11 and 12-19) and Street Dance with Fusion (ages 8-12 and 10-15).
Councillor Andy Smith, Lichfield District Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Leisure and Major Projects, said:
“Our Active Lichfield Communities Team have organised a wide range of free activities for young people in Burntwood and Lichfield over the Easter holiday.
“All sessions are led by qualified coaches, and you don’t need to book — just come along and join in the fun!”
