Residents are invited to gather friends and family and enjoy an evening of music, entertainment and community spirit as Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park returns on Saturday 5 September 2026.

Organised by Lichfield District Council, the much-loved event will once again transform Beacon Park into an open-air concert venue, bringing together people from across the district for a relaxed evening of live music in one of Lichfield’s most popular parks.

Whether you're planning a picnic on the grass, bringing a deckchair, or gathering with friends around a reserved table, Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy great entertainment in a unique setting.

While the event is free to attend a range of optional upgrades is available for those looking to make the most of the evening, including reserved parking, tables, deckchairs and gazebos.

Councillor Phil Whitehouse, Cabinet Member for Operational Services, Parks and Waste said:

“Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park has become one of the highlights of our events calendar and we're delighted to be bringing it back for 2026.

“It's a fantastic opportunity for residents and visitors to come together, enjoy a wonderful evening of live music and make lasting memories with family and friends in the beautiful surroundings of Beacon Park.”

Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park attracts more than 8,000 attendees each year and remains free for residents and visitors to enjoy thanks to the support of sponsors and partners.
