Activity and stall providers sought for children’s summer fun day in Beacon Park

Beacon Park Fun Day.
The Fun Day is a popular summer event in Beacon Park.

Lichfield District Council is keen to hear from any companies able to provide activities and stalls for children and young people at a Fun Day which is being planned for the summer.

The event, on Wednesday 2 August, will feature inflatables, a carousel, stalls, sports, games and races.

To make it as fun as possible the council is hoping to attract more activities and stalls.

Activities could be anything from arts and crafts to circus skills – but they must be designed for children and young people.

Stall holders may also wish to attend. These could be representing local charities or clubs looking to raise their profile or displaying gifts.

A spokesperson for Lichfield District Council said:

“The Fun Day is a great opportunity for the whole family to enjoy taking part in a range of activities together in Beacon Park.

“It is very popular attracting families from across the district.

“We would like to be able to offer even more fun activities this year and hope to hear from more providers.”

The Fun Day will be held on Beacon Park’s sports pitches on Wednesday 2 August between 11am and 3pm. Entry is free but there will be a charge for some of the activities.

If you are interested in bringing your activity or stall to Beacon Park’s Fun Day, please email parks@lichfielddc.gov.uk or call the team on 01543 308867.
