Sponsors come forward to support Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park
Sponsorship from a host of local companies will help stage Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park again this year.
The popular free event is one of the highlights of the district’s calendar, attracting as many as 15,000 people on the first Saturday in September for an evening of rousing music.
Fans return year after year to enjoy performances from local musicians, singers and a symphony orchestra all topped off by a spectacular fireworks display.
But with Lichfield District Council determined that it remain free for people to enjoy, Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park relies on the generous support of businesses to make it happen. Proms would simply not be possible without them.
Our thanks to Platinum Sponsor Zest Education, Gold sponsors Strongs Plastic Products, James Dean Events, Brownhill Hayward Brown and In-form Solutions, which is also sponsoring the deckchair zone, Silver sponsors Rotary Club of Lichfield St Chad and RHP Computer Solutions and Bronze sponsors Beacon Street Garage, Wilcox Refinishers and Keelys LLP Solicitors.
Thanks also to Lichfield City Council and Swinfen Broun Trust for providing grants in support of the event.
Scott Barker, Managing Director of Zest Education, said:
“As the anticipation for the Proms grows, so does our pride in being able to sponsor such a great community event.
“Being a local supply teaching agency, working with schools and supporting the local community is at the heart of everything that we do.
“We can’t wait to see everybody there on Saturday 2 September on what promises to be another spectacular Proms in the Park.”
A spokesperson for Lichfield District Council said:
“We wish to thank all the sponsors that are supporting Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park this year.

“If you have never attended before, put it in the diary and come along for what is a wonderful musical experience.”
Sponsorship opportunities are still available for this year’s event on Saturday 2 September. The Bronze, Silver and Gold packages all offer inclusion in official Proms promotional activity and the event’s programme together with VIP seating and parking.
Businesses can also advertise in our Proms programme from just £100. The A5 glossy programme, which contains song lyrics from the planned event, is full colour and sold on the evening for £1.
