Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for High Streets and Visitor Economy, Councillor Janice Silvester-Hall, said:

“I would encourage anyone in the area who is looking for employment to come along to the jobs fair next week.

“Representatives from numerous local employers will be there to offer advice and information about current vacancies.

“The event is a great way of bringing employers and prospective employees together so, if you are job hunting, don’t miss it.”

Elaine Jones and Jo Rowley, Employer Advisors at Lichfield Job Centre, said:

“The jobs fair delivered in partnership with Lichfield District Council at the Guildhall last October saw over 350 people attend with some 450 vacancies on offer.

“Following on from this success we are delighted to welcome a wide selection of local employers from different sectors who are recruiting to the Guildhall this March.

“There should be something for everyone with local vacancies and support organisations and Jobcentre staff will be on hand to support and advise.”
