We’re delighted to have joined forced with The Wombles Community Charity through our Recycle for Good campaign to help develop the Wombles team develop their brand-new food waste education pack for schools acrpss the country.
Led by The Wombles and developed with our support, this inspiring schools pack empowers children with the knowledge and practical tools to make a real difference to the environment.
Through fun, hands-on learning, pupils are encouraged to recycle their food waste and become recycling champions at home and in their communities.
By engaging students in meaningful and accessible ways to protect their planet, the pack aims to spark a lifelong sense of responsibility and passion for sustainability.
To maximise its impact in the classroom, the food waste recycling pack includes a comprehensive PowerPoint lesson, engaging activities, and a range of supporting resources - all brought to life through the much-loved Wombles theme to make learning both fun and memorable.
For generations, The Wombles have been champions of reducing waste and recycling, making them the perfect guides to lead students on their journey towards becoming climate-conscious citizens.
