South East Staffordshire Citizens Advice is a local charity that provides services to residents in Lichfield and Burntwood.
The team offers free, confidential, impartial and independent advice and information on issues, including:
- debt and money management
- welfare benefits
- housing advice
- consumer rights and advice
- employment advice
- family advice
They can support you to fill in forms, draft letters, and speak to and negotiate with third parties, including creditors.
Lichfield office
Our district council house reception desk is managed on our behalf by the team from South East Staffordshire Citizens Advice.
If you have an appointment with the CASES team, please sign in and collect your visitors sticker using the sign-in iPad opposite the main doors. This will notify the person you are meeting to come and collect you.

The reception team can also offer drop-in appointments about issues like debt management, benefits and more.
