We aim to investigate reports within three working days, although it can take longer during busy periods.
What to expect
- We will remove or cover up graffiti on district council owned land and property, and private land and property, if it is offensive in nature. We aim to do this as soon as possible after a report is made.
- Where the graffiti is not offensive, we do not prioritise immediate removal - it will be removed in due course as part of our routine cleansing schedule.
- If the graffiti is non-offensive and located on buildings or structures not owned by the district council, it is the responsibility of the land or property owner - we will let you know if this is the case.
This helps us manage our cleansing resources effectively across the district.
Once we have investigated your report, we will update the case in our customer system to let you know whether we are able to remove the graffiti and if it will be prioritised.
