Report a street cleansing issue

Key facts:

We are responsible for cleansing district council land and adopted highways across the district. We will respond to reports of:

  • Syringes or sharps
  • Broken glass
  • Vomit
  • Litter
  • Excessive leaf and blossom fall from public land
  • Roads that require sweeping
  • If you are reporting dog fouling, please fill in our dog fouling report form.

Depending on whether the issue is a danger to the public (for example syringes, broken glass, vomit etc), we will either send out a crew to address it as soon as possible, or address it when our street cleansing team are next in the area, which is normally within 7 days.

We do not clean or maintain private land - if the issue is on private land, please report it to the land owner.

As part of this form, we will ask you for your email address. This is so we can keep you up to date on what we will do to resolve/address your issue.
