If your bin/bag is due to be emptied on Monday, please put it out as our crews will be collecting as normal.

The flood water in Museum Gardens has now subsided, but unfortunately it has left behind a significant amount of mud, silt and debris. Our team is working with Severn Trent on a clean-up plan, and the affected area will remain cordoned off until this work has been completed and it is safe to reopen.

The gates next to the Registry Office will remain closed today, and we ask visitors to please avoid the cordoned-off area for their own safety. The gates next to the café will be open, although we will keep access under review over the coming days. We are also aware that further torrential rain is forecast for Saturday, so we will continue to monitor the situation closely and make any changes needed to keep everyone safe.
