You can pay your business rates in a number of ways:

By direct debit

The easiest way to pay your business rates is by Direct Debit - payments are taken on a ten monthly basis (April - January), with no payments in February and March. 

If you want to pay by 12-month instalments you'll need to requst this no later than 10 March for payments to start in April and be spread out across the year - to request this, please contact our customer services team.

By debit or credit card

You can make a business rates payment through our online payments system or you can call our automated telephone payments line on 0345 234 0068 which is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week

By cheque

Make your cheque payable to Lichfield District Council and write your business rates reference number on the reverse. Send your cheque to: Business rates payments team, Lichfield District Council, District Council House, Frog Lane, Lichfield, Staffs WS13 6YX.
