We've had a printing issue with a small number of poll cards that have been issued for the Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner election on 2 May. If you receive a second poll card please destroy the first poll card you received, and use the second one. The replacement poll cards will be clearly marked to show you which one to retain. Please be reassured this will not affect anyone's ability to vote, or allow people to vote more than once. Whilst you can take your poll card to the polling station, remember you don't need it to vote, but you must remember to bring your voter ID. Thank you for your understanding.

How to apply or renew

You can apply online using Staffordshire County Council's website. You'll need the following details to complete the online form:

National Insurance Number
driving licence number
a digital passport style photo
the details on your current badge, if you have one

If you are unable to make your application online our customer services team can help. Call our team on 01543 308000 weekdays, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (not including bank holidays) to book an appointment.

Appointments can take up to one hour.

A debit card payment of £10 is required at time of application along with relevant proof documentation.
