We are investing in our heritage city and district.
We have five key regeneration-led projects we are progressing which are detailed in full on our developments website:
- City centre gateway, place-shaping project to house a mix of housing, retail and leisure with a healthy dose of green space too. This development is the catalyst for broader regeneration opportunities across the district.
- Cinema plaza development repurposing a Debenhams store in the heart of the main shopping centre
- A brand new leisure centre to support the long-term health and wellbeing of our residents.
- Better use of District Council House.
- Lichfield City Centre master plan and design code will identify the key projects we are committed to delivering by 2026.
- Burntwood Town Deal we have joined forces with Burntwood Town Council and Staffordshire County Council to agree to work together to improve the Burntwood’s shopping potential, health services and transport infrastructure.
