Tell us you have moved into, within or out the district

If you have just moved into, within or out of the district, you need to tell us you have moved for council tax purposes, which you can do online.

You will need to provide the following information:

  • Your name and address details 
  • The date you became responsible for or left the property
  • The date you moved in or out (if different from above address)
  • Whether you are/were the owner or tenant
  • Landlord details or new purchaser details

If you receive help with your rent through us (housing benefit) and/or help towards your council tax bill (local council tax support) you also need to let us know if your circumstances change.
