We council recognise that slavery and human trafficking remain a hidden blight on our society, that we has a responsibility to be alert to the risks and to strive to ensure that our supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.

This modern slavery and human trafficking statement details the steps we have taken to understand potential modern slavery risks related to our business and to put in place measures to ensure that these offences are not committed in our own business or our supply chains.

This statement relates to all activities carried out by the council. It will be reviewed on an annual basis and a new updated statement, acknowledging any further actions that may have been taken, will be published during each subsequent year.
