Chair & vice chair

We are really sorry if we missed your bin yesterday. Unfortunately, an issue at one of our disposal sites meant our crews and vehicles had to travel further than usual to dispose of waste and recycling. This increased journey times and, despite everyone's best efforts, meant we were unable to complete a number of streets. If your bin or bag wasn't emptied as a result, please leave it out and we will return to empty it as soon as possible. We have put on an additional crew to help catch up on the missed collections. We are very grateful for everyone's patience and understanding while we work to get back on track. If your collection is due later this week, please put your bins and bags out as normal. Each year, Lichfield District Council appoints a Chair and Vice Chair to represent the council at civic events, support local communities, and act as ambassadors for the district.

The Chair also presides over meetings of the Full Council and helps promote the council’s work across Lichfield District.
