Our Active Lichfield Community Team are running a variety of free sessions across the district, all delivered by fully qualified coaches - view holiday activities.

Join our Mini Bioblitz sessions for Love Parks Week!

Help us spot as much wildlife as possible in just 2 hours! Meet the Parks Team and take part in these fun, family-friendly nature sessions.

All experience levels welcome. Use the iNaturalist app or pick up a recording sheet. Bring your own binoculars or wildlife guides if you have them.

Come explore, discover, and celebrate nature in our parks!

Friday 25 July

10am – 12pm Beacon Park near the wooden bridge and 1pm – 3pm Stowe Pool near the boat shed.

Tuesday 29 July

10am – 12pm Burntwood Park near the car park and 1pm – 3pm Chase Terrace Park near the car park.

Make your own butterfly feeder

Sunday 27 July 11am - 1pm & 1.30pm - 3pm

Come along to the Community Garden at Beacon Park to make your own butterfly feeder to take home.

Get creative and help our wildlife as well!

Beacon Park super hero day!

Thursday 31 July 11am - 2pm 

As part of Beacon Park Super Hero Day, come along and make your very own super hero lolly-stick doll. 

Beacon Park Pavillion, Changing room 1 (near the public toilets)

Also if you come to the park dressed as a Super Hero that day you will get a free round of crazy golf and a free ice lolly from Lakeside Bistro (whilst stocks last)!

Beacon Park fun day!

Wednesday 6 August  11am - 3pm

A highlight of the park’s summer calendar!

This fun-filled event features giant inflatables, a carousel, activity and food stalls, a barefoot walk, games, and crafts. Children can bring their teddy bears and take part in the free teddy races.

Entry is free, with a mix of free and paid-for activities available throughout the day.
