Local government across Staffordshire is changing – and your views matter.
The Government has asked councils in Southern and Mid Staffordshire to consider creating new unitary councils – single organisations that would deliver all local services instead of the current two-tier system.
This is your chance to:
- Hear directly from Cllr Doug Pullen, Leader of Lichfield District Council, about what Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) could mean for residents, businesses, and communities.
- Learn more about the options being explored and the opportunities and challenges they bring.
- Ask questions during a dedicated Q&A session and have your voice heard.
Agenda at a glance:
- 5:30pm: Arrival & refreshments
- 5:45pm: Welcome & introduction to LGR
- 6:00pm: Resident Q&A with the Leader and senior officers
- 6:40pm: Closing remarks
- 6:45pm–7:15pm: Informal networking with opportunity to discuss your questions or concerns.
Please book your space ahead of the event. Booking is free, but spaces are limited.
