Our waste and recycling crews are working really hard in the heat to empty as many bins as possible - we are also putting on extra staff to help keep services running. Our crews walk more than 12 miles a day and each team empties around 1,200 bins, which is a huge task in high temperatures. Unfortunately, despite everyone’s best efforts, we missed a small number of streets last week - we are very sorry if your bin or bag was not emptied as a result. If your bin/bag wasn't emptied this week, please leave it out and we will return to empty it early next week. If your bin/bag collection is due next week, please put them out as normal. There’s no need to register.

All items will be delivered directly to your home later this year.

You will receive:

A small kitchen food waste caddy
A larger outdoor food waste caddy
A roll of liners
Instructions on how to recycle your food waste

There’s no need to contact us — everything is in hand.

*If you live in a block of flats or have a communal bin store, you will receive a kitchen caddy once we have completed the roll out of hte main scheme (summer 2026). We will also work with your landlord or freeholder to provide a new food waste bin for your bin store.
