Important notice about direct debits
If you have signed up for a direct debit for garden waste, we will write to you before the end of October to notify you that we will take your 2025 subscription payment of £41 in early November. If you want to cancel your subscription before we take your 2025 payment, please follow the instructions in the letter. Thank you.
If you have not yet signed up and would like your garden waste bin(s) to be emptied for the remainder of 2024, please sign up to our garden waste service before 18 October when the 2024 subscription window will close - please note however that your collections will end in December 2024. If you would prefer to wait and sign-up for a full year of collections in 2025, please look out for our 2025 sign- up process that we will launch in late November.
How to sign up
If you would like your garden waste bin(s) to be emptied fortnightly, you will need to sign up to our garden waste service.
We charge £40 per year for up to 23 fortnightly garden waste collections, between the end of January/early February to mid-December, regardless of when you sign up.
You can choose to pay by direct debit, so you don't need to remember to sign-up again every year, or you can pay by debit/credit card for a one-year subscription.
If you want to pay by direct debit, you will need to register for a MyAccount (if you don't already have one). It's really easy to sign up - you just your name, email address and postal address to hand. Once signed up you will be able to manage your direct debit from your MyAccount.
Make sure you have your bank account number and sort code details to hand.

Once you have received your sticker(s), please stick it on the side of the bin that our crews will see when they come to empty your bins. Please then put your stickered bin(s) out on your normal collection day before 6am with the stickered side facing the road.
