Expert advisors will be offering cost of living and wellbeing support at Burntwood Library.

Cost of living and wellbeing support is available to Lichfield District residents at a dedicated session in Burntwood next week.

The drop-in, at Burntwood Library in Bridge Cross Road on Wednesday 16 July, brings together our council tax and benefits team, our housing team, the Job Centre, Citizens Advice Bureau, Lichfield District Community & Voluntary Service and more to provide advice and guidance, in one easily accessible place, on:

  • Housing benefit and council tax support, exemptions and discounts
  • Council tax payment plans
  • Foodbank vouchers
  • Blue Badge parking
  • Bins and recycling
  • Housing and homelessness
  • Health and well-being
  • Debt and energy bills

Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Engagement, Councillor Richard Cox, said:

“Trained staff from a range of organisations will be at the drop-in session offering expert advice to residents challenged by the cost of living.

“If you need support, please come along next Wednesday between 9.30am and 11.30am.”

There will also be digital support for anyone who needs help accessing or navigating online forms.
