Neighbourhood plans set out planning policies for an area.

A Neighbourhood Plan for Stonnall has been submitted by Shenstone Parish Council.

Neighbourhood plans are prepared by local communities and set out local planning policies for their neighbourhood area.

Once a neighbourhood plan is submitted, we are required to consult on the plan for a minimum six-week period and ask organisations and individuals for their comments.

We then collate all the comments and pass them on to an independent examiner who assesses whether the Neighbourhood Plan meets the national requirements and can proceed to the next stage of the process, which is a referendum within the neighbourhood area on whether or not it should be adopted.

The opportunity to comment on the Stonnall Neighbourhood Plan will be open from Monday 11 August 2025 until 11.59pm on Wednesday 17 September 2025.
