Young people in Lichfield District can enjoy a host of free activities during next week’s half term break.
Our Active Lichfield Communities team organise the Getin2it programme which is running from Monday 26 October to Friday 30 October with sessions in Lichfield and Burntwood.
The activities cater for different age groups and include basketball (ages 7-12 years), football (ages 7-12 and 7-16), dodgeball (ages 7-12), netball (ages 7-12), circuit training (ages 8-12), Street Dance (ages 8-12 and 10-15) and US Girls (ages 8-11 and 12-19).
Councillor Andy Smith, Lichfield District Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Leisure and Major Projects, said:
“Our team has arranged a variety of great free activity sessions for young people to enjoy in Burntwood and Lichfield over the October Half Term holiday.
“Our sessions are all led by qualified coaches, and there is no need to book — just come along and join in!”
