Lichfield company backs Beacon Awards to highlight the district’s best businesses and community heroes
An established financial planning company has pledged its support for Lichfield District Council’s Beacon Awards which will recognise the district’s star businesses and community-minded organisations and individuals later this year.
Pool House Group has become the principal sponsor of the awards set to take place at a gala presentation at the National Memorial Arboretum near Alrewas in October.
Entries and nominations are invited until 31 July for the awards, the categories for which are as follows:
- Independent Business of the Year
- Customer Service Award
- Tourism and Hospitality Business of the Year
- Apprentice/Young Businessperson of the Year
- Employer of the Year
- Large Business of the Year
- Small Business of the Year
- Best Sustainable Business
- Entrepreneur of the Year
- Lichfield Shining Light – District Legacy Award
- Community Hero
- Charity or Social Enterprise of the Year
Pool House Group, a Chartered firm of financial planners based in Lichfield’s Dam Street, ‘helps clients make well-informed decisions about the financial journey throughout the different stages of their life’.
The company offers a range of financial services for individuals regarding investments, pensions, mortgages and protection and also to businesses around workplace pensions, group insurance, business protection and trustee services.
