We've had a printing issue with a small number of poll cards that have been issued for the Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner election on 2 May. If you receive a second poll card please destroy the first poll card you received, and use the second one. The replacement poll cards will be clearly marked to show you which one to retain. Please be reassured this will not affect anyone's ability to vote, or allow people to vote more than once. Whilst you can take your poll card to the polling station, remember you don't need it to vote, but you must remember to bring your voter ID. Thank you for your understanding.

Do's and don'ts

Do:

Follow our guidance on what to put in your blue (and purple) bins and bags.
Add your house number to your blue bag and all your wheelie bins. This could be with a sticker or in permanent marker. This will help our bin crew to keep your bins and bags together.

Don't:

Put any recycling in plastic bags. You must use your new recycling bag for paper and card - it is heavy and durable.
Refuse to separate waste.
- If you mix all your recycling into your blue bin or bag we will be unable to empty it.
- We are offering two weeks of amnesty when we will return to collect your recycling once you have separated it.
- However, after this time we will not be able to collect recycling that is not correctly separated.
