Budget book and capital strategy
Our strategic plan set our our ambition to be a good council that is financially sound, transparent and accountable, responsive and customer focussed.
Our annual budget book and capital strategy form part of this commitment. These documents were signed off by full council on 27 February 2024.
Our annual budget book
Our annual budget book sets out how we propose to spend our revenue and capital budgets on services. It also provides an understanding of the current financial position facing the council both for the coming year and looking towards the future.
Our capital strategy
Our capital strategy provides a high level overview of how capital expenditure, capital financing and treasury management activity contribute to the provision of services along with an overview of how associated risk is managed and the implications for future financial sustainability.
