We are in contact with all known rough sleepers in the district to encourage them into accommodation during the current weather conditions, as part of our severe weather emergency protocol, which is now active. If you are concerned about a rough sleeper who you feel needs help, please call us on 01543 308000 or outside of office hours call 01527 406643. Find out more about our severe weather protocol.

We are sorry but some of our online bin forms are not working including order a replacement bin and order a new bin. We are currently investigating the issue.

Unless your order is urgent, we recommend you wait until we have fixed the issue. We'll remove this banner when the issue is resolved.

If your order is urgent, please WhatsApp us 01543 308171 with your request, including your address details.

You can still subscribe for garden waste - this form is working.

We're writing to just under 2,000 residents across the district this week to let them know their bin day or week will be changing from this week onwards. If you receive a letter it will explain exactly what’s happening and what you need to do.

These changes will help us rebalance collection rounds, plan for future housing growth, and prepare for the Government’s forthcoming food waste collection scheme. If you have any questions, please WhatsApp our team on 01543 308171 or email waste.strategy@lichfielddc.gov.uk.

We're so grateful to you for your support and understanding which helps us to continue to deliver a reliable and sustainable waste service to local homes.
