Unfortunately, we’ve missed a number of blue bin collections on Tuesday 1 July due to a fire at the Biffa site in Aldridge. We believe the fire may have been caused by a vape being incorrectly disposed of in a blue bin - find out what to do with vapes, and please never put them in your household bins. As a result, our lorries were unable to tip off recycling once full, and we were unable to complete all rounds. If your blue bin was missed and your street is listed on our list of missed streets, please leave it out and we will return on Wednesday 2 July to empty it. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We are in contact with all known rough sleepers in the district to encourage them into accommodation during this warm spell as part of our severe weather emergency protocol. If you are concerned about a rough sleeper that you feel needs help, please call us on 01543 308000 or outside of office hours call 01527 406643.
