Make a difference in your community – become a Recycle for Good volunteer!
Are you passionate about the environment? Do you want to help others recycle better and reduce waste? Join our Recycle for Good campaign and help us spread the word across Lichfield District and Tamworth Borough.
We're looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help educate and inspire others on recycling, reusing and reducing waste. Whether you’ve got an hour a week or a few days a month – every bit helps, and we’d love to have you!
What you’ll do:
- Visit local schools to lead fun and engaging recycling sessions
- Attend community events and host recycling information and craft stalls
- Support community groups to raise awareness of reuse and recycling
- Join recycling officers on their rounds to promote good recycling habits
- Act as a local advocate and help launch our exciting new food waste service
