High temperature catch up plan
We're really grateful to residents for their patience last week(week commencing 22 June 2026) after we cancelled recycling bin and bag collections due to the high temperatures.
We are working hard to catch up on all missed collections during the week commencing 29 June.
Catching up is a significant operation. For each day of missed collections, we need to empty around 16,000 additional bins and bags alongside our scheduled collections.
Please leave your bins/bags out this week and give us until Friday 3 July to empty them.
We will publish a list of streets that have been completed each day until Friday 3 July 2026. If your street appears on the list and your bin has not been collected, you can report it as a missed collection.
