Lichfield's main railway stations are located at:
- Lichfield City train station on Birmingham Road, Lichfield - view station and facilities. This station provides a direct route to Birmingham and beyond, as well as trains to Lichfield Trent Valley. Services from this station are operated by West Midlands Railway.
- Lichfield Trent Valley train station, on Station Approach, off Burton Road, Lichfield - view station and facilities. This station provides services to London and the south, and Crewe and the north. Services from this station are provided by London Northwestern Railway and Avanti.
