We have been made aware of a potential scam to businesses in Lichfield District.
Businesses have been telephoned by someone claiming they were High Court Bailiffs acting on the council's behalf and demanding payment immediately to prevent the removal of goods and further charges.
Although we do use enforcement agents when required, Lichfield District Council always warn you beforehand and advise you at the point that we send any cases to enforcement agents.
