Family entertainment centre gaming machine permit

If you would like to run a family entertainment centre (with only Category D* machines on site), you will need to apply for a unlicensed family entertainment centre gaming permit.

You can apply to have any number of category D* machines, subject to other considerations such as fire regulations and health and safety.

If you want other categories of gaming machines on your site, you will need to apply for a premises licence.

We cannot issue permits for boats (vessels) or vehicles.

To apply for a an unlicensed family entertainment centre gaming permit, or to convert an existing (Section 34 permit issued under the Gaming Act 1968) permit, or to vary the details of an existing unlicensed family entertainment centre gaming permit, please fill in our application form and return it to licensing@lichfielddc.gov.uk
