The next section of your council tax bill (shown below) details:
- Your council tax band is the valuation decided by the Valuation Office Agency - shown at the top of the purple box - in this example band C.
- The amount you pay will pay to each precepting authority is broken down into amount and percentage change since last year - find out more.
- These are the amounts each authority needs to fund their services.
Please note: this is only an example of a bill, your property may have a different band and a different parish council.
