Planning fees

Amendment charges

Once you have submitted your planning application, we are not legally obliged to accept any amendments to your plans.

This is because amendments require us to carry out additional work that an applicant has not paid for - from re validating plans, through to reconsulting with neighbours and stakeholders on amended plans.

Householders no amendment policy

We have a strict no amendment policy on householder applications and we are sorry but if you want to amend the plans you have submitted, you will need to reapply. We will determine your original submitted plans as submitted and you will have to pay to apply again through the Planning Portal.

It is for this reason, that we encourage householder applicants to apply for pre-application advice, so we can help you to get your plans right first time. Pre-application advice for householders starts from just £63. Find out more
