Invalid advice fees

It is vital that you ensure your application is correct (known as valid) before you submit it to the Planning Portal.

If your application is not valid, we will contact you to let you know why your application is not valid.

At this point, you can either withdraw your planning application which will mean we will let the Planning Portal know to issue you a refund, less a 10% administration charge to cover our time for having reviewed your application.

Alternatively, you can choose to use our invalid advice service and we'll help you correct your application so that it can be made valid.

Our invalid advice service is an optional planning advice service - if you do not wish to pay for our invalid advice service, you can choose to have your planning application and the fee you have paid returned to you, less the 10% administration fee.
