Scoping consultation
The first stage of the new Local Plan 2026 - 2046 is to undertake a consultation on the scope of the new local plan in accordance with the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2026 – Part 4, Regulation 20.
We would like to know your views on the following:
- Scoping consultation document - what content to include in the new Local Plan.
- Draft engagement strategy - how we engage with you on the Local Plan.
The consultation will run for four weeks from until 5pm on 5 October 2026.

You can choose to comment on the scoping document, draft engagement strategy or submit a site for consideration.
