Infrastructure Funding Statement
Any local authority that has received developer contributions is required to publish an annual Infrastructure Funding Statement. The IFS provides a summary of all financial and non-financial developer contributions received from planning obligations, such as Section 106 agreements and CIL, within the district. The IFS will detail obligations sought and received within the monitoring period, and will include information where expenditure or funds have been allocated to infrastructure projects. The document will also detail infrastructure projects, or the types of infrastructure projects, that we intend to wholly or partly fund through S106 agreements or CIL in the future.
We published our first IFS for the Lichfield district for the 2019/20 monitoring year. All subsequent IFS reports will be published annually, by 31 December of the monitoring year.
