Community funding

We Love Lichfield is a local fund that provides small grants of between £100 and £1,000 to community and voluntary sector organisations based in the district.

The fund is generated by investing donations in a permanent endowment fund managed by the Community Foundation for Staffordshire in line with charity commission guidelines. 

The interest generated from the investments is distributed as grants. We initially gifted £25,000 to start the fund. 

What can be funded?

The maximum grant is £1,000. Grants are awarded to community and voluntary groups which are based in Lichfield District and meet the needs of the local community. 

Your project must meet one of the following criteria:

• Provide a service for the local area, or for local residents.
• Improve the lives of local people.
• Be providing a service or facility that would otherwise not be available.

Make a donation

The more money invested, the greater the interest generated and the more grants can be made to local community groups. The We Love Lichfield fund is always looking for more local people and businesses to donate to help sustain and grow the fund.
