Request an internal review
If you're not satisfied with our response to your freedom of information (FOI) request, whether you feel it's incomplete, unclear, or you believe information was wrongly withheld, you have the right to ask us for an internal review.
This means we will take a fresh look at how your request was handled, and this is usually done by someone not involved in the original response.
It's a straightforward way to challenge the outcome and seek a fair resolution.
We ask that you request an internal review within 40 working days of our original response, and do this by responding to the person who sent you the original response or emailing governance@lichfielddc.gov.uk with a copy of the original response and details of why you are requesting an internal review.
We are not statutorily required to offer internal reviews and may reject requests if we feel they are repetitious or vexatious.
