This section sets out what we look at when considering whether homeless customers have priority need and what support you can expect if you are homeless and classed as having priority need.

It also sets out what support you can expect if you are homeless and not do not have priority need.

This section also provides specific advice for people who are assessed as having priority need, based on being vulnerable.

Whether or not you have priority need will depend on your circumstances, the evidence you can provide, and the advice we receive from other organisations supporting you.

If you are struggling and need support, contact our team on weekdays on 01543 308000. Outside of office, please call our out of hours service on 01527 406643.
