How to apply

To see if you are eligible for a discretionary housing payment, please fill in our form

Discretionary housing payments application form

Please read all questions on the form and provide as much information as possible.

Please also make sure you upload all the required evidence. If you do not, this will slow down the assessment of your application.

We will email you if we need further information so please make sure your email address is correct.

Once you have submitted your full application and evidence, we will assess it within ten working days and we will write to you as soon as we have made a decision.

As part of the application form we will ask you if you are happy for us to share your details with our tenancy sustainment team. They may be able to offer help with a wide variety of issues to help you look at alternative ways to support your tenancy.

These standard figures may be used for utilities, TV licence and food. If the actual expenditure is higher than the standard figures, the applicant may be required to provide evidence of their actual expenditure.
