How to apply
To see if you are eligible for a discretionary housing payment, please fill in our quick check form:
We will assess your quick check form within five working days (although we'll aim to do it quicker when we can) and if you are likely to be eligible for a discretionary housing payment, we will email you to ask you to make a full online application and send you the application form.
If you are not eligible we will email you to let you know why.
Making a full application
If you are eligible to make a full applcation, please follow the instructions in the email and form.
Please also make sure you upload all the required evidence. If you do not, this will slow down the assessment of your application.
Once you have submitted your full application and evidence, we will assess it within ten working days and we will write to you as soon as we have made a decision.
