Request a review of a decision
If your housing payment support application is refused because you are not eligible (for example you were not in receipt of universal credit or housing benefit when you accrued your arrears), you do not have a right of appeal and we will not be able to make a payment to you, regardless of your circumstances.
If you think you are eligible, and you are unhappy with our decision, you can ask us to review it by emailing us at claimappeal@lichfielddc.gov.uk.
This will be carried out by an independent member of our team.
Housing payment support is provided outside of the housing benefit schemes and therefore you have no statutory appeal rights.
