Building control information search
You can ask us to carry out a search of the building control information we hold.
This can include things like whether the property has building regulations approval if a building regulations completion certificate has been issued, along with any certificates or notices relating to work carried out under a ompetent person self-certification scheme.
We can also tell you if there are any statutory notices relating to building control that still apply to the property (and haven’t already been revealed elsewhere in this form).
We can also confirm whether the council has taken, or authorised, any legal action against the property for breaking building regulations.
