With the warmer weather here, please remember:

Don’t light fires or BBQs in our parks, fields or open spaces – it only takes a spark to start a serious fire - see our advice on barbecues.
Avoid swimming in open water – lakes, rivers and reservoirs can be much colder than they look and pose hidden dangers like strong currents and underwater hazards.

Enjoy the weather responsibly and help keep Lichfield District safe for everyone.

Don't forget to cast your vote to have your voice heard in this May's elections. Polling stations across the district opened today at 7am (Thursday 1 May) and close at 10pm. If you are registered to vote you will have received a polling card through your door (of your registered address) a few weeks ago. This will show you where to go to vote.
