Hire a park for an event

You can hire two zones in Stowe Field - either individually or combined. You can also hire the site circuit. Our prices include advice and guidance from staff experienced in holding events, ensuring your event is safe and well managed.

Stowe Field has limitations on the types and weights of vehicles that can enter/cross the space, and as such, you will need to discuss your plans in detail, including your vehicular management plan, with our events team before securing your booking. Commercial rates

Commercial fees are charged to all profit making organisations. To find out more about commercial rates, contact the LWMTS events team.

Community rates

Available to non-profit organisations, charities and community groups only. If you are a community event organiser, please contact the LWMTS events team to request a formal quotation.

• Discounts are offered using a discount calculator to event organisers of larger scale events. 
• Hire fees are charged for part or all of a full day. 
• Set up and take down fees are charged where set-up is required before or after the day of the event.
• If you only require a shorter period, we may consider a reduced fee, depending on other expressions of interest. Please contact the LWMTS events team to discuss.

Please note: 

• Subject to approval, Stowe Field can be used for events or overflow parking. 
• Capacity for parking of the field is approximately 150 spaces.
• Unless the ground/weather is dry, event organisers need to pay for additional grass cutting in advance of the event to ensure the area is dry enough to prevent damage to the ground. This is at the discretion of the grounds maintenance team and the event organiser must meet the requirements set out by the team.
• During wet weather, organisers will be required to use matting to prevent damage to the ground. This is at the event organiser's expense. 
• No HGVs or artic lorries are allowed on site or to use the turning circle by the barrier. This is due to underground services that could be damaged by excess weight. 
• If used for overflow car parking, the event organiser will be responsible for ensuring the safety of people using the site (both to park and to use the nearby gym and play area) through the provision of staff to marshal car parking.
• Event organisers must provide an additional bond for the hire of Stowe Field, which will be retained until after the event and any damage has been assessed.
