Hire a local park for an event

We offer a commercial rate and a community rate for Shortbutts Park. Our prices include advice and guidance from staff experienced in holding events, ensuring your event is safe and well managed.

Commercial rates

Commercial fees are charged to any event that seeks to attract more than 499 people and all profit making organisations. 

*Hire fees are charged for part or all of a full day. 

**Set up and take down fees are charged where set-up is required before or after the day of the event.

Community rates

Available to non-profit organisations, charities and community groups only, for events attracting below 450 people, subject to the discretion of the council.

*Hire fees are charged for part or all of a full day. For community/charity events only, if you only require a shorter period, we may consider a reduced fee, depending on other expressions of interest. Please contact the events team to discuss.

Activity hire

We also offer activity hire - e.g. for bootcamps. Rates charged are:

• £20 per hour.
• £80 per month, enables groups to use the park for as many sessions as required within one calendar month.
