You will be able to report a dead animal locally. Please be aware we remove dead animals (wild and domestic) from district council land and adopted highways, and from time to time may work with other authorities to arrange safe removal. We do not remove dead animals from private land (such as driveways, gardens, fields or farmland). This is the responsibility of the landowner.

We are responsible for the emptying/maintenance of litter bins and dog waste bins in our parks and open spaces, city/town centres and in some other on-street locations such as laybys. We also empty some litter and dog bins on behalf of other organisations, such as parish councils.
Depending on the severity of the issue you report, our team will visit to assess the bin/address the issue as soon as possible, and normally within 7 days.
